Microsoft has taken a significant step by making its GPT builder, Copilot, available to all users, even those without a paid subscription. This move allows users to enjoy nearly all features offered by ChatGPT, including custom commands, file uploads for enriched context, web search capabilities, and DALL-E 3 for image generation. While some functionalities like the code interpreter are still in testing and not yet available, this broader access could democratize the use of GPT technology. To create custom GPTs, however, users will need to upgrade to a Copilot-Pro account at €20 per month. This strategy could significantly impact how GPT technologies are adopted and utilized across various industries.
